How do I convert a 4.3 GPA to percentage, and is 4.3 the same as 4.33?

Use Percentage = (GPA ÷ 4.3) × 100. Some institutions label this scale "4.33" (where A+ = 4.33) instead of "4.3" — it is the same scale and the same calculation, just a different label.

What is 8.5 CGPA in percentage?

On the 10.0 (Indian CGPA) scale, this calculator uses Percentage = GPA × 9.5, not ÷max×100. So 8.5 CGPA = 8.5 × 9.5 = 80.75%. This is a generic conversion — some Indian universities use their own official formula, see the note below the calculator.

Why was my GPA rejected as invalid?

A GPA is only accepted if it is a number between 0 and the maximum for the selected scale (e.g. 0–4.0 on the 4.0 scale). Negative values, non-numeric text, and values above the scale's maximum are all rejected.

Does this calculator work for weighted GPA?

No. This calculator assumes unweighted GPA only. A weighted GPA above the scale's maximum (for example 4.6 on a 4.0 scale from honors or AP courses) will be rejected as invalid.
